If I had a nickel each time a promotion had to change venue on short notice due to impromptu election, I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's fun that it happened twice (and I attended one of them).

There is an indirect link to Joshi wrestling in the genesis of the project, as the concept of opposite heroines having to work together is partly inspired by the anime "Dirty Pair" from 1980, itself an hommage to the legendary Beauty Pair tag team of Jackie Sato and Maki Ueda.

TJPW has done a remarkable jod rebuilding their tag scene that was in shambles just a year ago. They mostly went with pairings of veteran with younger wrestler, which seemed to have helped a lot the development of the newest generation both for in-ring and character.
