Weekend training! With speed work during the week, weekends are for higher rep sets.

Log C&P 2 x 7 x 140#, Silver Dollar DL 2 x 10 x 300#. Light but not easy after we catered an event yesterday. Skipped carries because of that.

I still exist in the gym! Now that it’s dark and dank early, I switched it up to explosive training. Speed sets, long length partial finishers, and grip training.

Tonight was speed bench 3 x 5 x 135#, w/ seated rows, bicep/tricpes to failure, IYT raises, abs, & pinch grip holds. Training time 45m.

No carries on the street this weekend. Instead, catered a few events, one of which had the kitchen 50 yards and two flights away from the buffet. Needless to say I worked on conditioning rather than strength.

Sandbags tonight! Our weight cart broke and I was too lazy to spend time carrying each plate down for yoke so I switched it up.

4 x 50’ x 125# up/downhill, 4 x 50’ x 150# up/downhill. Fastest two sets in video, definitely need to work on my pickup speed. Felt great otherwise!

Carry carry carry. Farmer Carries today, 2 x 50’ x 125/175# per hand, 2 x 30’ x 205# per hand. Uphill/downhill.

Needed a lot of rest between sets for some reason today, so training time was 1 hour. Most of that was setup/teardown and rest.

After a month of travel, sickness, and back spasms, I live.

Training tonight was Yoke- 175/275/315/355# x 60’ uphill carry/downhill push, 2 x 405# x 30’muphill carry/downhill push.

Switching to carries for training during the week with longer strength sessions on weekends.

Moar lifty!

Bench 3 x 5 x 155/185/195# (tried 210/205 first & only got a rep each).

Squats 3 x 3 x 185/205/225# - depth was not comp depth but I only go as my knee lets me on squats.

Finished with Circus DB rows 3 x 6 x 80#, Front Squat Holds 3 x 15s x 225#, & IYT raises.

Training time 60min.
