I feel like I unlocked some sort of dark magic by combining my two ways of making fancy cocoa™️ eheheh

Foamable oat milk, one half gets forthed, the other mixed with cocoa / sugar and thickened with starch (like the Spanish stuff), then combining both. Blasphemously good

I love my current room so much!! Especially now that I get some sunlight again in the evenings

Pt.2! Wanted to make more but my sprained ankle told me to stop for today. Niku Miso / kinda sichuan mala-y Beef / glazed mushrooms! Esp the niku miso looks so gross, tastes pretty good though ww

Starting full time work on Monday with no good food options so I'm trying to meal prep, let's see how it goes! Will make more tomorrow (as always too lazy to make it look nice)

...except the result was the opposite, way bigger and sweeter than imagined

Back to regular scheduling, I made Mapo tofu again, probably for the 4th time in 2 weeks

Hyper-specific emotional observation: I've always loved looking at evening skies but the light of the low standing sun on other surfaces triggers some very deep melancholy in me. I have memories of this exact feeling going all the way back to my early childhood

I feel so dumb, wanted to microwave something and forgot to open the locks so a really strong vacuum formed and now I absolutely can't open it, even after letting it cool down (it was shaped normally before...)

Went to goasia today (first Saturday of the month is 10% off) and got tteokbokki to redeem my mixed experience yesterday, but there's still room for improvement... Without getting coated by the thick sauce it's just a bit bland, even if the rest of the stir fry was well seasoned and delicious

I hate that I can't handle stuff with lots of chili... The tteokbokki was soo good but it really triggered a allergic kinda reaction in my face beyond just spicy :'( should stay away from spicy Korean stuff, I always regret it
