Atsu totally gave me Joel from The Last of Us vibes, especially towards the end. Broken by violence, embraced violence to survive, but finds new purpose in family.

Love it! Give me 100 more games about beautiful, broken, badass women learning to love and be loved!

In case anyone was curious (no one was), I had a blast playing Ghost of Yōtei! Story wasn't quite as good as Ghost of Tsushima, in my opinion, but definitely way more compelling than AC: Shadows, another big open-world game set in Japan about a woman avenging her family released earlier this year.

A new update for Memoirs of an Angel (2010), v1.4.0, is now available on Itch and Steam! I completely redesigned the status screen and added handy notifications for changes in stats, affection, and inventory, among other updates and bug fixes.

*Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma*: 8/10 ❤️

Felt a little lackluster at first having just finished *Fantasy Life i*, but grew on me. Definitely better than RF5, but not quite the peak that was RF4.

I'm in love with almost every romance option - and there are so many! (Cuilang is best boy 💕)
The two main characters, Kaguya and Suburu, look out wistfully in front of the six romanceable gods representing Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, the Heavens, and the Underworld. The logo for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is on the right. My favorite adorable robot boy (Cuilang) gets the head pats he deserves.

*Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time*: 8/10 ⭐

This one wasn’t even on my radar. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it! Crafting and decorating of ACNH combined with an action-adventure RPG.

Just wish the cast of wonderfully designed villagers were more fleshed out. Let me get to know them!

*Assassin’s Creed: Shadows*: 6/10 👍

Played 100+ hours, most of which was bulldozing through castles as Yasuke and slaughtering everything in sight.

Story kinda lost me after the prologue; didn’t even bother to finish it. But obviously gameplay was enough to keep me playing, so that’s something. 🤷‍♀️
