Is there a smart person out here who can explain this to me. About 2 years ago I put flaky salt in a clean jar. Now it starts to make some kind of blue pigment. What is going on? #salt #pigment #science #chemistry

Made a fun pillow cover from scraps and embroidery doodles. It only cost me about 5 times more time than it would have if I went to a shop and buy one. Good choice.;) #embroidery #sewing

This is not setting the bar very high. We should just have mandatory stickers on trucks that belong to employers that don’t pay a living wage. Just shame them into decency.

Why is Rievaulx abbey a ruin? Henry the 8th became head of the church, took it away from the monks and gave it to a friend. The friend took everything he could use from the building and than left. Too much power make people unbearable. But, even in ruin the abbey is an amazing serene place.
