(Anyway seeing this guy win a championship has given me a newfound appreciation for how good the other drivers are, some very talented poeple (Checo Perez and Valtteri Bottas) get forced out of the sport to keep guys like Norris in their seats and its such a shame.)

and they feed on whatever crumbs Norris feeds them with the way he has started talking about Oscar after Abu Dhabi, its like they don't even see Oscar as a human but just some puppet they can use to ship with Norris and its absolutely disgusting.

Let's not forget the fans' role in this, they are so blinded by their own delusion about the landoscar yaoi bullshit they made up in their heads that they can't objectively look at what is actually happening within the team
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
I would expect more emotional intelligence from someone whose fans claim he's raising awareness for mental health in the sport but clearly you can't expect much consideration from someone who has been as entitled as Norris.
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
Expecting Oscar to come into the spotlight that would be his party while he was still reeling in the fact that he just lost a championship is just cruel and I'm not sure he even realizes that.
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
Constantly complementing Oscar and asking to celebrate after the season they have had, acting like they're best mates immediately after winning the championship in order to appear like the angel he wants the media to portray him as, he's actively being cruel to his so called best friend.
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
But to say in interviews that you want Oscar to join you and celebrate your championship with you when he himself just lost the championship is the most insensitive thing he could've said.
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
He's been saying how his job was winning the wdc and Oscar's job was getting P2, and sure that in itself isn't problematic since Oscar didn't have the same chances to win the wdc in the last race.
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
Even putting that aside, everything he's been saying after the race is probably even more messy than whatever he's said during the previous season.
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
I'm not saying that is wrong, all teams would use one driver to help the other if the other was fighting for a championship, but to expect your championship contender teammate to help you is a level of entitlement you wouldn't expect in a sport that is as competitive as Formula 1.
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
He has continued the same behavior this season, wanting to appear morally superior in front of the media but immediately going back to his entitled behavior once the cameras weren't on him.
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
Onto Norris, last year when he was the only one fighting Max for the championship he said he wouldn't be begging Oscar for positions, that he didn't expect anything from him but the second he was threatened he would come on the radio asking for Oscar's help, directly contradicting his own words.
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
I don't get how no media outlet is calling them out on their idiocy. How are the only people calling this out Oscar's fans?
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
and that should be a warning for people, they're trying to rewrite the narrative of how this championship was won by implying Oscar always intended for Norris to win and he willingly supported Norris, as if the team didn't outright steal points and hand them to Norris.
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
Then they started glazing Oscar, praising him and how incredible of a season he's had and calling him a great team player right after Norris won. Its like they're completely trying to bury the fact that Oscar was also fighting for that same championship,
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
just as Norris' championship started being seriously threatened by Max and they needed Oscar's help again so there's no way for Norris to lose the championship.
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
Not only that, they also completely isolated him, the entire team bar some of his mechanics are so clearly biased towards Norris. He has noone supporting him within the team. As if that wasn't enough, they also completely banned him from speaking to Australian media before Abu Dhabi,
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
and getting away scot free because the fans of the other driver will defend the entire team.
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
so Oscar can't publicly call them out because they've already apologized to him in the public eye. They have gotten away with way too much this season and this should not be allowed, it sets an awful precedent for other teams to mistreat one of their drivers
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
Imagine Mercedes doing something like that to one of their drivers in 2016, they would've been crucified by the entire paddock and the F1 community but nothing happens to Mclaren because they admit they did this but they call them mistakes, things that won't be repeated
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
and when anyone questions those decisions they very publicly acknowledge that they made a mistake and that it won't happen again except it does happen again, it keeps happening until the very last race of the season while he's still the championship contender mind you.
December 11, 2025 at 7:34 AM
Mclaren (Zak Brown and Andrea Stella) have asked him to do favours for Norris multiple times this year, sometimes they didn't even give him a choice and just sacrificed him without telling him,
