🙈 the parliament in Scotland is not a sovereign parliament

It is a devolved parliament of Westminster which is why it doesn't even have the authority to ask the people a question in a referendum on a non devolved matter like "the union"

But a parliament can't write it would be a person.

Whatever... When know which 2 people are your mystery signatories, come back to debate that weird idea :))

I haven't made up democracy... Goodness 🙈🤷🙈

Yes we know that.
That was 1707.
But who would be those signatures today ?
That is the question you are dodging .

Who in rest of world had said they wouldn't respect it?

I pointedly asked the previous UK PM, a Tory, if he would respect it. He never said anything like you have just said - he had far more respect for Scottish democracy!

Why don't you.

You are the one saying signatures best democracy.

I am just asking how? ..the democratic path is clear as most people respect democracy.

Again I ask have you read the paragraph in the ruling?

And would you respect a vote for independence?
March 26, 2025 at 6:48 AM
How would that work? Who are the relevant signatories? when all that exists are Westminster and Westminster's devolved Government?

And if a people vote for independence at an election why wouldn't you recognise it? .. why not democracy? Why these mysterious signatures??

I really don't know what you mean and if you do know then explain why a democratic vote wouldn't have authority in s democracy. Have you read the Supreme Court ruling and the particular paragraph on democratic authority?
