Boris Johnson had to resign for attending parties during the COVID lockdown breaking Covid rules. Trump is a racist a misogynist and a convicted felon but he can carry on regardless. A reflection of the difference between British standards and American standards.

Canada has a remarkable leader who the world is looking up to. The Board of Peace is dead in the water without Canada and Europe. Mark Carney was an excellent BOE Governor. If he would like to return to reside at 10 Downing Street he would be warmly welcomed throughout Britain.

Speaking a dead language alienates people. In Scotland do not know of a single church that has a Latin Mass. Do not know how attendance is in North America, but in our church at today’s mass with an Indian priest there were around 400 and if it continues growing will need another Sunday Mass.

Sadly that is the state of “the world’s greatest democracy 😂”, as despite knowing the facts you have presented Americans elected him not once but twice & almost thrice. The judicial system is completely corrupted by not being independent of political parties. Likely to become far less democratic

The most effective argument against voting for Independence was that by doing so Scotland would be outside the EU. Well we saw how that went. It is unfortunate that the Brexit vote was not before the Independence vote. I am sure that if that had been the case, Scotland would have voted Yes

I agree that there should always be strong Catholic-Jewish relations. The relations have been muddied by the genocide being perpetrated by the Israeli government following the many murders by Hamas. In essence, is completely wrong to be antisemitic but not wrong to be anti the Israel government.

My children went to Catholic Schools in Scotland. The grandchildren are not and I am very pleased about that. I now believe that segregation of Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim school children is wrong. If there were no faith schools whatsoever then children would integrate more effectively.

Of course, she would have been far better than Trump. So what does it say of the standards of the US electorate who elected Trump. The selfishness of Biden in hanging on far too long did not help, but still the present situation is a clear indictment on the appalling moral fibre of the electorate
