Debugging just got a major upgrade. We’ve officially launched Resource Visualization in Angular DevTools. Now you can gain even deeper insights into your app's lifecycle and dependencies directly in your browser.

Heads up for developers testing the new Signal Forms features, the "field" directive has been changed to "formField" to help prevent potential naming collisions with other directives and libraries.

isActive() provides a new, treeshakable computed signal to determine if a route is active.

Check out this example.

Inside a component class, a readonly active property is defined that checks if the /profile route is active. It passes a configuration object specifying "exact" matching for paths and query params, while ignoring fragment and matrix params. Multi-case @switch matching 🎉

You can now define multiple @case statements consecutively that can be applied to the same template. Here's a code example:

Years active in the community - Since AngularJS 0.9 beta Favourite Angular feature - Angular is reactive first. Having RxJS and now signals Angular demonstrates its commitment to making reactive designs. Once you figure out how to use the tools, I believe Angular gives you the best set of tools for reacting to very complex user interactions in an easy to understand manner. Teaching me to think reactively and helping to rewire my brain in this manner is a huge benefit to me and the software I write.
