All I can say is I'm truly sorry for the patients whose care is going to suffer bc of her decisions and that American "healthcare" is a genuinely evil corporate institution that needs to be destroyed and rebuilt from the ground up

I've been picking up SOOO much extra work to make everyone's lives easier too. I stay late most days. I fix problems left by earlier shifts. And she still has the gall to single me out and treat me like garbage!!!!!! She hasn't even been here A MONTH!!!!!!!!!!

See also they acted shocked & offended that I didn't jump to accept the "offer" of a slight pay raise (like maybe $2-3—they still won't tell me) in exchange for a total change of hours & a massive difficulty increase in my work (literally every single day would be The Worst Day You've Had At Work)

I've hated this place for ages but I push through bc I realized in horror that I'm one of a small minority of employees here that actually gaf about the patients and don't just see this as another job but I Can Only Take So Much Of This

Now she's doing a bunch of insanely petty shit like "demoting" the color of our scrubs and forcing me to make a log of every single specimen I get (I get like. 200-300 a night.) which she told everyone in an email she left me off of and then sent me a bitchy "JUST A REMINDER :)" email like holy fuck

I told her that her expectations are a little unrealistic in my exp (I'm the Only One who knows how to do my job & I'm told I do it Rly Well) & she straight up told me to my face that I'm inefficient & don't know how my job works before asking me what exactly my job entails. Are you fucking serious

Not only that! But also! "I'm also going to treat the remaining staff on the second side like lesser beings because clearly they're incompetent and stupid bc their position only requires a hs degree. So what if they both have bachelor's and are running a 5 person lab with 2 people."

So tell me why this manager shows up, sees the lack of work output on the first side and the incredible output on the second side, and goes "you know what? I'm gonna hire even more people on the first side to improve the output & reduce the staff on the second side!"

Lab is split in half, one side kinda infamously does little work despite a big staff for what it is, other side is constantly busy with a skeleton crew to the point that they actually sent ppl from the other side over to help out

I'm going to fucking explode man. The new manager really got hired and then started spitting in my face nonstop
