This is the kind of thing that runs through my head whenever people act like trump or starmer or whatever are aberrant. The places they rose up were already places that would rather spend money that could help the homeless on making them go away. Where? Who cares. Not here.

It's such a simple and overwhelmingly awful cruelty. People already driven by the rest of the fucked up mechanisms in our society to sleep rough and we deny them even that. And it doesn't have to be like this. These things have appeared in my lifetime. But they've just invisibly become the landscape
