I got this message on the Health and Human Services portal yesterday afternoon. My nonprofit gets monthly reimbursements through the portal for our federal grants. When I saw this, the OMB memo had not come out, but I emailed my CEO that it didn't bode well. We were right.

The Health & Human Svcs reimbursement payment website is down. "System Maintenance in progress, Interactive Access has been shut down." The OMB memo said it would start this afternoon, but this message went up yesterday. Contradictory information and contradictory actions are the order of the day.

Wishing all a peaceful holiday.

Especially those of us right now enjoying the quiet before the rest of the house gets up.

Finished! Blanket I crocheted for my cousin's baby. It's the first time I've had to do color change work like this that has to look good from front and back. I like the result, and like most crafters, I'm looking forward to my next project.
