I tried messing with long and short stitch (not to blend but to cover larger areas) and it's tricky! I did get a few basic samplers that have some shading to try it out though. Thread painting is beyond me still I think😅

I'm in awe of this satin stitch. It's so straight!! There are no gaps between the colors! Gorgeous work.
