This film recaptures some of the etherial quality of the first, while still embracing the campy action packed feel of the other installments! while it does have a few too many scenes, the additions to the lore are fascinating and the shot comp is still fantastic

Without knowing the story behind this film, it's still a technical marvel of stop motion with a disturbing atmosphere.
But knowing the context, this film transforms into one of the most disturbing media I have ever watched. A genuine must see for any fans of horror.

A feature length, pg-13 Goosebumps episode, complete with a twist ending that is actually disturbing!
I pray for the kids who accidentally bring up the 1988 "Pumpkinhead" by mistake though; but since both are Tubi I could see it being a neat double feature!

There are some amazing creature effects here.... when you can see it. This is probably the worst use of shaky cam I've ever seen, as it makes the monster attack scenes actually unreadable.
Still, the cast was likable, and some scenes were tense! plus, the undead were cool!

While not the "Cabin in The Woods" style horror I was expecting, it is none-the-less a good read with a lot of humor, fun characters, and good scares! The last third will probably lose some readers, but I recommend reading it 'til the end!

Not much to say, so I'll just say that the "Dart Scene" is what cinema was made for!

The perfect mix of Pulp, Folk, and slasher horror all wrapped up in an emotional package. This film not only has all time kills, but makes you feel genuinely bad for nearly all of the victims. This film has something to say about acts of violence, and I'm all for it!

I should've loved this movie, but the characters were kinda generic. I've seen these exact dynamics in a dozen post apocalyptic settings. But the acting and cinematography elevates film a good bit, along with an absolutely harrowing ending that left me speechless.

"Lovecraftian Body-Horror? Why, those are two of my favorite flavors!" 4/5 stars!

(plus it would be so funny if the Virtual Boy becomes the first Nintendo console to flop twice)
