Classic Rock isn’t itself a musical time period. Instead, it is a genre from a musical time period that had many genres. (For example, classic rock existed at the same time as disco and new wave and heavy metal, but none were themselves part of classic rock.

You don’t understand the genre it seems. It’s not simply about how old a song is. 🙄
