In the 1960s it was the Black Panther Party that provided breakfasts for schoolchildren in Chicago. We’ve circled back in history and once again it’s the “radical” Left that has to help Americans the right-wing government doesn’t care about.

Janet Mills is itching to take on Trump, as well as light a fire under do-nothing senate Dems like Schumer: “I never really understood why Schumer succeeded [Harry] Reid. Reid was a scrapper, a street fighter, he understood politics at a visceral level. Schumer is a number two man, a second banana.”

Entry 723 in the Catalog of Trump Tells.
“Everybody asks…” as in “everybody asks what rare earth is.”
Trump’s way of indicating that he himself has absolutely no idea about something that is common knowledge to most moderately-informed adults. See related entry on “uncommon words” like “groceries.”

NYC is better off without them. And I think it’s safe to say that the last thing Tennessee sheriffs are looking for is a bunch of over-the-hill carpetbagger New York cops. So good luck with that.

“Trump looks like a road kill skunk that would have been drying in the sun for months.”

And Lickspittle Lutnick is back there savoring the delicate aroma.

Trump’s obsessive “renovations” of the White House give us another clue that he thinks of it as his forever home.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias that describes the systematic tendency of people with low ability in a specific area to give overly positive assessments of this ability.

In Trump’s case the specific area in which he overestimates his objectively low ability…is everything.

The difference? We once had a vibrant, well-educated human being as president. Now we have a Freudian id in makeup and a wig.

And the fact that Trump has surrounded the Constitution with gaudy “gold” ticky-tacky tells us how little he understands that foundational document.

Why does Trump want Americans to go hungry? Because he doesn’t want us focused on his assault on American democracy. Former NYC mayor Fiorello La Guardia warned about this dynamic years ago.

Trump continues a long Republican tradition of not caring about the economy. It’s worse than expected because his basic ignorance, coupled with the evident cognitive decline has suffered, makes him especially good at ruining things.

How on earth did a nation predicated on the idea of democracy and self reliance wind up with a president who has never once in his life bought a gallon of milk?

“Socialism” is the term the rich apply to government programs and policies that benefit anybody other than billionaires.
