That’s not to say there isn’t room for facts, but we have to see those as tools, and not the primary point. Fascists support Trump because of the story he tells to white people about greatness and prosperity.

Ignorance applies to facts, and logic, and rationality. That’s not what any of this is about. All of this is about storytelling. Whether we want our story to be one of domination or liberation. Many Americans WANT to be dominators! Too many of us are bound by shock to see that truth.
