show up to volunteer here? the cognitive dissonance is so fucking deep that this kid, 18, 19, just didn't get why showing up with giant Trump signs in a Latinx neighborhood, to a social justice place to volunteer is a problem? I am really struggling, because what I want is conversation.

I of course, didn't say that but tensions were getting icky so something had to be figured out. The young man wound up leaving after talking with our Youth Mentor.

contact his P.O., but his Trump sign was problematic ( 2 volunteers had approached me, telling me it made them nervous) . I told him that he was welcome to stay, and that I respect his freedom of speech, but again, the sign was problematic. This kid was nice, polite. He tells me he has no problem
