I, too, played SOMA. But SOMA accurately portrayed AI as destructive and incapable of understanding anything.

Sorry, globally and nationally both, soy production for non-oil food products is a comparatively tiny market.

Doesn't really look like Lincoln, IMO. I mean, there's plenty of reference material to work with.

Figs, not dates. Modern cultivars don't need the wasps, but there are over 800 wild species that do.

Anyway, there are wasps and there are wasps. Only a handful are large, social-living wasps that annoy humans. Most of them are tiny, solitary things most people don't even notice. Look at this nerd!

Fun fact: 6000 years ago humanity was so desperate for seed oils that they grew the ancestor of lettuce for its seeds, which is fucking insane when you consider how tiny the seeds are, and also that they can float away like dandelion seeds.

Store-brand Reisetomate tomato fruit. 😉

(Yes there's a specific tomato plant cultivar bred for its hypercube ass tomato fruits. Originally cuz you can eat some of a Reisetomate tomato without making a mess while saving the rest for later.)
