I know how the apostles meant when they used the Greek word for it in the gospels, especially when students of the apostles provided commentary for these meanings in the first five centuries of Christendom. Going with their interpretation of the message there. Both definition and exegesis wise.

Christians for years since the 2nd century address the problem being that it’s only unforgivable if one remains an unbeliever in that context. And hence why that explains unbelievers who convert to Christianity are considered forgiven and saved in light of the unforgivable sin issue.

Not in the context in how the church has understood and addressed it. The other sins are forgivable in the sense that Christians are equally committing those sins, but a Christian isn’t doing unbelief (the unforgivable sin) and that’s why it’s unforgivable because it’s continuous unbelief.

If you die as an atheist or any unbeliever, according to most Christian doctrine, you go to hell. What that entails will vary from different Christian traditions. It’s only unforgivable in the sin of unbelief. But if you repent from unbelief, you are forgiven.
