Major media reporting/commentary on Piggy’s slurs reflect the racial/ethnic/religious/economic classes of large news rooms. Been like that forever. The scrappier nonprofit news orgs are usually more representative and offer more interesting views. Trust they are on it.

The admiral and the men & women of SouthCom deserve better than having to report to the lying leaches and scammers in Washington. They certainly should listen to reminders about illegal orders. Everyone in the military is a potential scapegoat.

Used to swell with pride at our anthem. Now it feels tainted & off-key. It’s our right - obligation, really - as Americans to peacefully dissent when so much is wrong. So do sit, or take a knee in sorrow (like Colin Kaepernick, though NFL maga hypocrites made him pay). You’ll be in good company.

Good point on ICE agents possibly getting bounties. At very least, we know Nosferatu Miller has set quotas for rounding up dark people, thousands daily, with apparently no penalty for screwups. ICE jobs may be tied to performance/cruelty. That excites the animals in charge.
