The year 2020 was very difficult for many people around the world, the global pandemic left a huge void for all of us and it was a new beginning. In my case I lost my two brothers, one due to an accident and the other due to COVID 19. In that moment of uncertainties, losses, grief, I ended up developing an illness called bruxism, I had no idea it existed and it affected me a lot, I felt headaches and some wear on the teeth. Today I am in treatment and now I have to deal with bruxism forever. This drawing is inspired by this pain, but in addition to the pain of bruxism it is the Paim of loss, of thinking about death, of the grieving process that never ends.

When I was a child I had a fall and probably fractuurei my elbow, maybe my parents did not think it was serious at the time, but many years have passed and sometimes the pain comes back and to make a movement the elbow snaps, I also left it there and have been living with my elbow like this for a long time. Today I think about the importance of body care and how it is noticeable before events, the body shows signs that something does not go as well as he wanted. Plantar fasciitis is an inflammatory process that affects the plantar fascia, making it one of the main causes of pain in the lower part of the heel. Plantar fasciitis symptoms usually begin with pain in the soles of the feet, especially in the heel region. Pain can intensify over time and may be aggravated by repetitive effort such as walking or standing for long periods of time. In my case the pain goes back and forth and a way to channel these pains is through these drawings that try to show my diseases talking with drawing and embroidery.

This artwork it’s about when I received the diagnosis Birads4, in 2023, the doctor spoke of the high chances of suffering breast cancer and then began my journey of pain, anguish, fear and impotence, in this arduous and murky way I realized how fragile our mind and body can be, I felt devastated and understood the suffering of many women who suffer from the disease or that have passed through my situation of scare, because yes, fortunately in my case, it was only a scare, the result was benign, but the fear invades the body and this is manifested by.
