When I recently played Hylics 1, I basically went in blind and didn't even know much of the story or who the boss was.
It was quite the pleasant surprise learning that Lord Gibby is a huge-headed guy with little beady eyes, thick lips, and a shakespearean dialect.
It's really cute..

It's very odd, and I chalk it up to being an autistic woman (mimicking speech patterns and such) but after watching a movie; I feel more coherent. More.. able to talk?
I came to this sort of realization cause' today I was awkward and I realized it was because I hadn't "absorbed" enough "scripts".
