Of course he blocked me. Truth hurts I suppose.

But yes, covering your ears and shouting "La la la! I am not listening!" will definitely help you understand why Starmer is so despised.

That's why we call it "the ground".

No! Floella Benjamin! What are you doing?!

That should be this worthless git's obituary in every newspaper. Just "Things happen."

Can we send more billionaires there, just to check? 100 or so, sent one at a time, should provide enough data to be sure.

That stupid sodding test. I should've realised that my disappointment every time it told me I was not trans was the real answer to my questioning.

When I say it had nothing to do with class, I mean it's not only posh schools that have it. I didn't go to Rhyl high, but a few of my friends did so I know it existed there during the nineties - and that school is about as far from posh as it can be. But yes, copying public schools seems likely.

Yes, I think we've established that. I made the assumption based on living in a poor area and yet still having houses in all the local primary and high schools.

I don't know how they work in private schools, but for us on sports day, as well as the individual events, each house would have their 1st, 2nd and 3rd places tallied so you were kind of competing for your house too. In the school Eisteddfod, some things would have houses competing, not individuals.

*Sigh*
Okay, well since all the schools in my area of north Wales have houses, I assumed it was commonplace, and it has absolutely nothing to do with class.
December 9, 2025 at 9:23 AM
Sorry, by all schools, I meant all schools in the UK.
December 9, 2025 at 9:18 AM
Houses are common in all schools. My primary and high school both had houses, and they're both state schools. In my schools they were generally used for competition like sports days and Eisteddfod. The houses competed against each other.

I also want to express my love for Dr Beth Upton. That woman truly has more courage than any of us.
