I know this one! I recently went down this same rabbit hole!HDMI -> DisplayPort conversions cannot be done because a DisplayPort input requires a clock signal. HDMI does not send a clock signal! DisplayPort -> HDMI can be done with some conversion of signal with some assistive chips!

I'm going to have to go with Xbox, they are all great controllers but the depth of the PC support for the Xbox controller makes it a no brainier for me tbh
