Yesterday, we closed #ISWC2025

It was a special edition for me. A 1-year journey, as I served a Resource Track Chair. It was fun, yet a great opportunity to shape this year's programme @iswc-conf.bsky.social
I organised the 5th ed. of Sci-K workshop

Also chaired Denny Vrandečić's keynote #intense

Yesterday, I gave a talk to the #ISKOUK Conference, presenting the status quo and challenges of creating Knowledge Organization Systems of Research Fields.

This slide summarises what I learned during these years in trying to use AI to generate them.

It's cool, it's artistic, but bloody hard!

Reached another milestone toward a comprehensive, semi-automatically generated ontology of research areas. Such a ontology is essential for widely structuring scientific knowledge, as it helps with the effective classification, dissemination, and retrieval of information.
