The FreiLab was out in full force at the Dalton2025 meeting with 2 posters and 2 talks. It was a great conference to get to know the wider inorganic community in the UK and beyond. The highlights were Çağrı's talk in the main lecture hall and 2x Poster Prizes to Katie and Anson. #chemsky

Saw this video about making Krispy Kreme Donut flavored milk/coffee using a centrifuge and because I do have a centrifuge and a wife that loves Krispy Kreme I gave it a go. Result: It indeed works! Wife rated it 7/10 but says she prefers to have the two separate. youtube.com/shorts/SV7Jt...

A hectic year comes to an end which started in Bern 🇨🇭 with 1 PhD Student and ended in York 🇬🇧 now with a group of 2 postdocs 3 PhDs & 2 Mchems. Overall all went well but looking forward to not do this again anytime soon. Excited to get started 100% at the University of York in 2025!!! #chemsky

We made up an acronym! Introducing ELECTRUM, an Electron Configuration-based Universal Metal Fingerprint. We needed a FP for Metal Complexes so we came up with one. It is simple to implement, has some limitations (stereochem), but works impressively well. doi.org/10.26434/che...
