The "Nintendo Switch 2 Edition" games like this can actually be played on a Switch 1. You can put the physical version of Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World in a Switch 1 and play the base game but not the Star Crossed World content.

If you get a coin as an item and don't use it until you get another item, the game will almost never give you another coin. If you use it before getting another item, you will be more likely to get another coin.

That's because of the smart steering setting. You can change it from the cart selection screen. Press + to show stats, then you can toggle smart steering on or off by pressing L. You can also change it while the game is paused.

"If you buy the game on Nintendo Switch and decide you want the Switch 2 version later, you can get it at no additional cost!* And vice-versa! (Except in Japan, where local laws require us to charge a small fee.)"

You don't need VRR for a good 40 fps mode because 40 evenly goes into 120 for 120Hz displays.

You can press L + R to take one without the UI. This also works in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

Yeah it would. In case you didn't know, NSO games already are downloaded onto your system and you can play them without internet for up to one week.
