Folks don’t care until after it’s too late

Being honest with myself and not diminishing my own feelings has been good. Realizing that someone doesn’t care about you is very important…and kind of liberating.

It’s kind of sad that so many people are expected to do high-stress jobs without being paid enough to at least feel some relief that they’re making enough to pay all of their bills on time. Life’s something else.
