I gave a nervous half smile as I rubbed the back of my head. He had pledged himself to protect me because of my Echo, and he was finding I had this as well. "Apologies, Talen. I hope that my anxiety isn't giving you second thoughts of being my protector." Talen blinked at this before laughing softly and giving a shake of his head, then tapped his armored with a fist. "I am with you all the way, Moonlily. Your anxiety will not be an issue. Besides there are plenty of adventurers that deal with anxiety and other things!" I felt a sort of relief at this as I let out a slow breath, the last bit of my anxiety fluttering away, then gazed over at him. "So.. What shall we do til we are needed for something?" He put his hands on his hips while gazing down at the ground as he thought for a bit before gazing up with with a grin. "Well.. Since I will be your protector for a good while we can get to know each other?" Smiling back as I pushed myself off the wall, I nodded my agreement to that. "If it is okay with you, can we wait till night time? There is a quiet spot near a waterfall that I like to go to." He gave a nod to this. "We can do that yes."

After the introdutions, Yda, Papalymo and Urianger had to depart to do things, and despite my anxiety starting to yell at me I had a few questions bouncing around in my head, feeling like I needed to be explained more about the primals, as well as the Echo if possible. I moved to sit on the bench beside Y'shtola while Talen moved to lean against the wall beside me. Moonily: So if at all possible, can you tell me more of the Echo? Minfilia: I can yes. Aside from it suddenly causing you to pass out and giving you visions of someones memories and past, which we have no control over, it also will allow you to understand other languages. There is a possibility as well that the Echo might also give different other things that we do not know of yet. Moonlily: And these primals? Thancred: The tribes require a large concentration of aether, so they go to great lengths to obtain crystals for the summoning. Once a primal takes physical form their unquenchable thirst for ather grows stronger and would drink the land dry without a care to the world. With their fearson strength it would be in their ability to do so. This is why we must fight hard to appose them. Moonily: Ah I see.. Getting up I bowed and gave a wave, Talen doing the same as I decided to depart. Moonliy: We shall be heading out now to see if there are any other things we are needed for. As we got outside I went and leaned against the short wall next to the stairs. Being outside now my nerves slowly calmed with the help of some slow calming breaths. Talen: Moonlily I looked to Talen. Concern was written on his face as he looked up at me. Talen: Are you gonna be okay? Moonlily: I will be fine. Just some anxiety.

She tends to be expressive with her ears depending on how she is feeling. Her ears will shift every which way when her anxiety hits with it, eventually lowering to the sides of her head. This happening when she is tired as well.

Minfilia: With knowing this, will you still think to join us? I gave this some good thought as my anxiety began to buzz a bit. Though the Echo as she said would protect me from them, could I use it to protect Talen's mind if he was with me? I gave it awhile longer to linger in my head before letting out a slow breath and gazing down with a smile. Moonlily: I shall join your order. Minfilia: Welcome then to you and Talen as the new members of the Scions! Minfilia: Take these linkpearls for both of you to communication amongst us. The password to do so is Wild Rose. There is nothing of import going on right now, so I or one of the scions will contact you via this if something comes up that we need you two for. I gave a nod of understanding as I bent down with my hand out to take the linkpearl and fastens it in my ear while watching Talen do the same. Minfilia made introductions of the scions gathered, despite the fact I already knew Papalymo and Yda. They had the task of surveying the Twelveswood, which explained why I saw them a few times and had their help in our encounters. Thancred, white haired man leaning against the wall gave a wink and a wave in greeting. Stationed in Ul'dah Next to him, a white haired miq'ote sat, flashing a smile with closed eyes named Y'shtola. White mage residing in Lima Lominsa And last was Urianger who was tasked with the dealings of the Waking Sands, Any questions I might have would go to him.

[Wide shot from behind the three. To their right of the room a hyur man leans against the wall next to a miqo'te woman sitting in a long seat. In front a woman stands at a desk, and to the left Yda and Papalymo stand with an elezen behind them, all looking at them.] Tataru: I present Moonlily and her protector, Talen! Minfilia: Well met, friends! I am Minfilia, leader of the Scions of the seventh Dawn. Your coming was awaited with how much Yda and Papalymo spoke highly of you, Moonlily. At the mention of the pair I looked over at them, both smiling and waving to me. I smiled and waved back. Minfilia moves to the front of her desk and leans back against it with a soft smile. Minfilia: Now to tell you of our goal. We aim to keep Eorzea safe. Our main concern though are godlike beings called primals and have been searching for a solution to the threat they pose. [First panel Talen crossing his arms with a brow raised, second panel Moonlily looking surprised and the last panel we look over his shoulder at Minfilia with a closed eyed smile.] Talen: Does telling us this somehow connect to her echo? Moonlily ~Oh... Well he beat me to that question.. Minfilia: Yes actually. Our order is home to many more also possess the Echo, and it takes various forms, like the inexplicable loss of conciousness that you experienced while seeing someones past. The other thing it holds that holds a particular interest for us is protection from the primals. This is important in helping you fight against them.

[First panel. Moonlily crosses her arms with ears lowered as she bites her bottom lip, seeming a bit concerned. It appears to be suddenly dark in the room.] I found it a bit weird that their order was secretive and hoped I didn't make a bad choice as I watched the pair leave. [Moonlily gazed down at Talen with hands on her hips, he looking up at her with a not concerned look.] It was dark outside now. I guess I was out for a bit when the Echo knocked me out and they got me in the room. Moonlily: Time for some actual rest since we have Vesper Bay to head to tomorrow.. Talen: Then I shall see to my own room. See you in the morning! [The pair walking toward the waking sands] As morning came and we woke, we headed over to Vesper Bay to meet with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. {Note: Didn't want to put speech bubbles on these two panels] As we entered, a lalafel female gazed over at us with a slightly startled look and turned in her chair with a serious look before speaking. Tataru: This is private property. Unless you have business here, I must ask you to leave. Moonlily: We do actually. We are here on the behest of Yda and Papalymo. Tataru: My sincerest apologies! May I please have your names? Moonlily: Moonlily and Talen Tataru: Ah I recently added your names to the book! My name is Tataru and I welcome you to The Waking sands, headquarters of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn! I shall take you to the Antecedent down in the Solar. Hopping down from her chair she motioned for us to follow her downstairs, bringing us through a couple of sets of doors before coming to the ones we aimed for, she leading us in.

[Second panel Yda rubs the back of her head while giving a sheepish smile while Papalymo looks calm] Yda: Ah. About that.. Papalymo: The mission actually involves you, Moonlily. Moonlily: Involving me? Galfrid spoke highly of you when I told him of our first encounter, so it must be a good think. [Talen and Moonlily viewed from the side as they gaze ahead.] Yda: You have the qualities we seek in an adventurer. There is also the mater of you having the Echo and the visions it gives you. Papalymo: You are also not the only one with this power. We have a friend with it that can help you, and we would like you to meet her. Yda: Since Talen has become your protector, we wish for you two to join our cause. We shall also assist you however we are able. We will tell you the name of our order and where to find us if you take us up on our offer. [First Panel Moonlily holds her chin in thought. Second panel she looks down at Talen who gives her a surprised look] I paused in thought, and before I decided I gazed down at Talen, he giving a startled look. Since he was my protector know it made sense for me to ask him his opnion, but he spoke before I asked. Talen: This is your choice, Moonlily. So whatever choice you make in this I am with you as your sword and shield. [Moonlily smiles to the pair with ears perked forward and both hands on her chest] Moonlily: I have trust in both of you, so shall join your order and cause.] [Yda grins up at Moonlily as she clasps her hands together while a sweatdrop goes down the back of Moonlily's head at what the shorter woman says.] Yda: Great! You shall find us at Vesper Bay at The Waking sands! We are Scions of the Seventh Dawn, defenders of justice! Though you must not tell anyone of us!

[FIrst panel Moonlily wakes on a bed on her side with a gasp.] Moonlily: Ah! Talen: You are finally awake! Are you okay? [Second panel Talen is knelt beside the bed while Moonlily holds a hand over her face with ears down.] Moonlily: I'm fine. I have what is called the Echo. Gives sudden visions of someones past but I pass out. Hoping it stops knocking me out. You managed to get me in a room on your own? [Panel 1 both Talen and Moonlily look to the foot of the bed with her moving to push herself up.] Familiar female voice: He had some help, actually. Talen: Your lady friend was surprisingly strong. [Second panel. Moonlily sitting up surprised as Yda gives a smile and a wave while Papalymo bows.] Moonlily: Yda! Papalymo! How did you come to be in Ul'dah? Yda: We are here on a mission of sorts and we saw you passed out in front of the inkeepers counter, so I helped get you in a room and in bed! [First panel Talen speaks while holding a look of concern] Talen: Moonlily... With you being vulnerable during this echo, I wish to extend my protection and travel along with you to keep you safe. Will you allow me to pledge my sword and shield to you and be your protector? [Second panel Moonlily gives this some thought. [First panel. She smiles to him] Moonlily: I accept your sword and shield, Talen. Stepping back, Talen brought forth his sword and shield and took a stance where he held both in front of him. Understanding that this was him being my protector officialy, I stood and bowed with a smile.

The men rush forward to fight, but they are easily dispatched with Moonlily landing a punch hard enough to knock the wind out of the Roe who thought she would be easy to defeat for him while Talen sends a lean bodied hyur flying back with a shield bash. The men run away with an aggravated merchant man following suit. [First Panel the woman wearing a white robe with hood up bows with head down to Talen and Moonlily thanking them for their help while the second panel she is looking up as Talen smiles to her with a small bow, Moonlily smiling as well with hands clasped in front of her] Woman: Thank you for the help. Moonlily: Happy to have helped, ma'am! Talen: If you need any oth- [Moonlily shouts in pain and holds her head while bending down as Talen and the woman show concern. Talen's ears are down as he moved to catch her if need be, despite the viera being bigger than him.] Talen: Moonlily what's wrong? Moonlily: Will explain...la..ater. Room...quick! [First panel Moonlily's ears are down as she looks to be taking a calming breath] Moonlily: Oof... Echo what do you show this one now.. [Second panel of her with ears perked forward as she thinks a surprised oh as the last panel showed the woman in white amongst a group about to by food.] Moonlily: This one figures someone saw her buying and was probably to intimidated to say a thing.
