either way youre not going to lose access to anything if you don't do the system transfer Right Now as long as youre using the same switch account on both systems you can either locally transfer your virtual game cards or just redownload them from the shop

technically you can just reinstall your games later without worrying about the system tranfers! that's how i did it since you can't directly switch from a micro sd card to a micro sd express card like how you could format and swap cards on the switch 1

i actually gave the three ati/amd ones away to a friend who collects old tech but i kept the evga card because its genuinely one of the coolest things ive ever found. i won't be using it in my retro pc since i already have the card i want in there but its still a cool thing to own imo

im grateful to my besti kathie for helping me cover the shipping for the monitor and im grateful to all my friends who chipped in with motivation and encouragement that this was worth seeing through <3 i hope to show it actually running some period accurate games very soon!

pokémon isn't going to improve, so look elsewhere, towards people that are actually passionate about pokémon and have made true love letters to the series as opposed to corporate slop or whatever palworld was supposed to be

its sad how i brought this up years back during the palworld debacle and everyone was like lol no and its like this is why we keep getting the games we get, because they actively ignore passion projects and consume slop instead
