The billboard was installed decades ago when some of the Hamilton Farm's land was taken by eminent domain for the freeway, and they never got over it. It was alternately a source of amusement and outrage every time I drove past it on my way to and from Portland.

"Beautiful" seems to be one of Trump's only adjectives. Check out the articles like the one in Quartz with lists of the strange things he thinks are beautiful (safe zones in Syria, sleeping gas, American tax dollars, etc.)

He caused the current problem when he pulled the US out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (the Iran nuclear deal) in 2018, because Hubble forbid he allow any Obama signature accomplishment to stand. And NOW he wants them to come to the table?

I laughed at your blog bitch about this puzzle answer today. I guess some of us pay more attention to pretzel brand names than others. 😂 However, I had my own complaints about Spelling Bee today because it refused to take - wait for it - a term for a part of a bee. Why do I keep frustrating myself?

So, UC Davis is next on the chopping block after Berkeley. Why? Because the University "allowed" a peaceful protest by Palestinian students. Research funding down the drain. The right only likes free speech when it approves of what is said. "Free speech absolutist" Musk is a joke.

Ours here in CA has a lot of Muslim and Asian students, as well as a few Sikh students, most of whom I'm guessing are US citizens. Hoping being in a very liberal town in a very liberal state keeps them sheltered from this insane, illegal bullshit.

Its name. Species binomials are latinized, even if the species epithet comes from another language. Wikipedia actually has a decent article, "Bionomial Nomenclature."

I do Vipassana meditation, and took a 10-day course last year. 10 hours a day for 10 days, with no phones, internet, nothing. Life changing, for the better.

I have a friend who's angry at me because I refuse to be outraged. So she's mad about politics and mad that I'm not mad. What a sorry way to live. I'm too old to waste whatever little years I have left that way.
