The terrifying part is busting out the piccolo for that damn march. I may have asked to join in with the other piccolos because YOLO but now I regret it 🤡

The worst part: he was clearly trying to trade fours or twos with me. I did not realize this at the time. I didn't want to interrupt him so I didn't play anything 💀 it is so obvious in the recording 😂😂😂

2: Poor guy had to drag me like a boat anchor. I do appear to have learned things. I'm glad I took this recording so I can remember the things, as I was definitely blacked out at the time. Glad I did it!

1. I give an uninvited lecture about the piece. The most IDRS thing that has ever happened, happened: there is a reed water mishap in the audience, which distracts me enough to end the lecture.

Every time I get invited to play in a quintet, I turn it down so fast. I just hate everything about it

That happened to me on Monday night, but it was a student orchestra, I think they were mesmerized by the sound of the oboe and forgot what to do 😂

I have a really impressive reed thread collection out on display, that usually mesmerizes them and they ask me about sewing before they see all the razor blades etc.

I have been inches from losing it all week and I think I am just overstimulated 🫠
