I have recently gotten back into Magic the Gathering and it isn't conducive to my productivity at allll. Been hyper fixating on refining my decks way too much. Still fun tho

For that poem I posted, there's some fun worldbuilding stuff in there! Maybe my favourite hidden one is the name "Însângerescu" implying that the poem's author was a member of the Kallisto Empire's însângerați forces and is a veteran of the war against the Republic :D

Here's the finished product for the poem I was working on earlier! I... had to settle on a slant rhyme so I'm particularly pleased but I was *really* struggling.

So, I would like to shout out how impressive I find skilled song writers and poets. There is such a depth of skill there that I just find it amazing. This weekend, I've been attempting to write a short poem for an epigraph and have found it horrifically vexing. Quite fun though~

I'll share a couple of my older iterations though of the main continent Gitontitán! This won't quite be accurate to the final map considering I need to remake it, but this can give an idea~ 2/2

Once I get around to it, I'm probably going to post some maps of my setting. I was using Azgaqrs Fantasy Map Generator which was free and very fun to use (though a bit clunky and with a learning curve). I lost all of my save data though so need to start from scratch, woe is me. However.... 1/2

For example!!! You know that silly pine-trees-are-edible post? That's the Haugen March babyyyyyyy! Located in the furthest eastern reaches of the Amarei Grand Duchy and the northeast corner of the Kallisto Empire, the Haugen March's food is hella limited but they got sooooo many pine trees!

A large part of what I plan to use this bluesky for is just random trains of thought. Most of it will probably be relevant to writing but sometimes it won't be. I *do* plan to share fun worldbuilding stuff though. I kinda wanna avoid spoilers but worldbuilding is different!

Their edibility runs tangential to the mundane, parallel to the eldritch, and I find myself ever-so-slowly slipping through the cracks of sanity as my mind yearns to comprehend that which should not be.

Not the best pic but I figured I'd share something fun. I tried a new colour for my nails this time but, more importantly, a fun lil pattern! Is it perfect? Not really, but the nail tech did her best! Y'all might notice a similarity to my PFP and that's 'cause it's a symbol tied to my novel :D

To be fully transparent, I made this bluesky account at the recommendation of a fellow sapphic author so we'll see how things go. I've never maintained a social like this before soooo... I'm not expecting much.

Still, my novel release is coming soon so I figured I'd do my best~
