This holiday season I learned that my mom loves Timothee Chalamet.

She saw Wonka a few months back and says she could watch anything he's in many times. She's so hype for A Complete Unknown too.

Anyway...the family is watching Wonka again tonight 😂

Happy Thanksgiving!

It's my dog Disco's 3rd birthday and I made the best apple pie EVER (recipe by Erin Jeanne Mcdowell.)

Today I'm thankful for my family, friends, and therapist 😘

Tell me someone else is watching Love Island France?

It's so good.

If these producers don't let my girl Cindy win... 🥲

Last was Hadestown. Despite many recommendations for Parade I wanted something *a little* lighter.

8/10. Tom Hewitt was great. Vocal issues for a few stars which I can sympathize with. It was round eight of a show that relies on a lot of high-pitched moments. Act 2 recovered and I still had fun.

A Doll’s House was 9/10. Jessica Chastain and Arian Moayed were so powerful. The sound was so crisp and I loved the usage of shadows and light rigs to heighten the tension. -1 for some weird prop/voiceover decisions.

Someone next to me was taking photos and scrolling Insta. Not for him I guess.

The next play I saw was a matinee of The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window. 7/10. Stodgy dialogue seemed to weighed a few of the actors down. Oscar Isaac and Miriam Silverman were amazing though.

Sour part was the audience was really sickly. Lots of distracting coughs, sneezes, and throat clears.

A few show reviews in thread…

Prima Facie was the highlight of my trip. An absolute 10/10 with nonstop energetic dialogue and movement from Jodie Comer. Hard to believe she does this 8x a week!

Went in mostly blind so was delighted by the stage shift. Would love to see again from the front row.

The best investment for my anxious rescue has been a Modern Animal membership.

He got his vaccines while resting in this position 😂
