Here's something...
Squealed.Pigs.Trump, is a place on the Mexican border. Very near to S.Deliverance Way.
I kid you not.
Whereas Quiet.Piggy.Trump is in the middle of nowhere, in Queensland, Australia.
There's loads more variations. Don't believe me..? Look yourself.

Well, Samhain is just over. And what a memorable one it was too.
Friends from far and wide, gathered together to remember the ancestors.
A fire, a circle, food, drink and music. All perfectly combined to mark the season.
Merry meet and merry part.

We've got Late Blight in our potatoes.

Not a fan of chemicals, but it's either spray the whole potato bed, or lose the lot.🙁

Ordered fungicide. Just hope it gets here in time

Irony is, we covered the potatoes with fleece, against early frost, which may have created the ideal conditions for Blight

Sleepless in, no not Seatle.
"Oh do shut up..!!" To inside of own head.
I'd rather be sleeping at this hour of the morning, and not thinking about whether the House Insurance renewal date, coincides with the Phone Bill, Water Bill and Council Tax Bill..!!
Ahhgggg!!!!

The weather's been a bit miserable over the past few days. Hoping for a dry spell, as we have grass and hedges to cut before the "back end" of the year.
Still haven't yet got used to how much milder it is where we live now.
OK, so it rained today, but I still went outdoors in shorts and teeshirt.

I just stood outside in our own garden, and have to pinch myself.
I cannot believe that we can see the Milky Way so clearly just from our own back garden.

Just got from Horizon Farm.
Had the biggest, most juiciest, Bacon Double Cheeseburger,
Chips - not 'yer tiny American fries - salad, and all the trimmings. Oh, and a big pot of tea too.
Full to bursting
I'll now probably have to have a lie down in a darkened room, followed by a cool-off in the pool

Has the internet gone boring?
I mean, as in really fucking, mind numbingly, boring.

Back in the day, I'd free-style net surf - i.e. put random words in search.
Stumbling on a weird band from Austin, or great music from Holland or Scandinavia.

Now Search shows stuff to buy, or stuff I already knew

Looking around the internet - like yer do - when I happened to take a look at stills from the BBC TV series THe Quatermas Experiment.
The "space helmets" were Siebe Gorman mine rescue Smoke Helmets..!
BBC still (left). Siebe Gorman helmet (right).

Isn't it strange. When we lived in Stoke, no one wanted to come and visit. As soon as we move to Cornwall, everyone wants to come round for a cuppa and a natter.
Mind you, being where we now are, can you blame them..?

Need to rant...
Ordered a Troika lamp base from a "100% trusted seller" on Ebay.
Paid a tad extra, as lamp was "PAT tested".
Yeah right. If this lamp passed a PAT test, then my Aunt Fanny is an astrophysicist.
Loose wires, missing screws, no cable grip on the lamp body.
Complete rewire needed. Hmmph

Just driving home this evening, when we were first upon the scene of an accident.
Dark car, sideways on to traffic, dark road, no lights.
Not exactly humorous.
999 call. Police call handler was very good, with Police quickly on the scene.
I think my late dad must've been watching over me tonight.
