Is it just too real to laugh?

A favorite parenthood bonus is hearing my kids make weird noises when they think no one can hear them. Ex.: I’m in a hot bath and just heard my fifth grader through the muffle of the closed door say something to the effect of: ‘hwnf-heeny-hey-hey-naaaaay’ in a little sing-song happy voice.

Imma need some of you to think about thriving out of spite. I had big plans for 2025 and I’m definitely not gonna pre-derail them for likes of Elin and Tromp. I’m getting more involved. Loving harder. Writing hornier. Having more fun. I’m gonna be so kind to my neighbors, bitch.

I braced myself for high prices for My Chemical Romance tickets today, but I was not ready for what I found. Nothing under $366, and those are nose-bleed seats. So on 8/29, Imma dress up like G and play The Black Parade super loud at home instead. Why are tix like this???

I’m choosing to believe that my serial failure to be happy or lastingly successful at career-jobs-I-get-but-don’t-want is The Universe encouraging me to grow the self-discipline to write my books.
