I just want to add, I am aware of both the good and bad of FDR, he was after all, human.
He obviously cared about Americans and America, something many politicians today are lacking.

The Little White House, in Warm Springs, GA. is well worth a visit. The human side of FDR is very much on display, and the town is where he gained compassion and humanity. The people in Warm Springs and especially the other polio patients, taught him compassion and humility.3/4

Of course he is already somewhat of an expert on FDR, his Capstone paper in junior college was over the Casablanca Conference. I am becoming an expert, lol. One thing that is striking to me is that as a President, FDR was very much a civil servant. He had a desire to help ALL Americans 2/3
