The Republican’s claim that the shutdown is because Democrats want to give free health care to undocumented immigrants is a complete fabrication. ACA subsidies has NOTHING to do with undocumented immigrants.They only receive emergency care, which was put in place by Reagan, a republican.

Deporting employed immigrants (including farm workers) who pay U.S. taxes has no direct benefit & is detrimental to the U.S. economy, as it would reduce tax revenue, cause labor shortages, & harm industries like agriculture and hospitality. It also has a negative impact on Social Security & Medicare
