I wiped out at a crosswalk over the weekend by slipping on one of the recently painted sections when it was wet. Since then, I've been lamenting to some of my friends since I ended up with a big bruise on my knee, and they've also fallen or slipped on the painted crosswalks

Attended the vigil last night for Lilly and Jack in Stellarton. Last night marked Jack’s fifth birthday and this Sunday will make six months since they were reported missing from their home in Lansdowne Station.

Body scanners have come into the Nova Institute for Women, the only prison in Atlantic Canada to have the technology. For prison advocates, they're wary of whether this technology will be properly used and what this means for the safety and rights of inmates.
