Called my mom this morning to ask when she got her citizenship. Wondering if I could get deported if she was not a citizen when I was born in 1975. Where would they send me? Back to China where I’ve never ever lived and don’t have family anymore? Where would my kids go? Where does it end?

I would share all our summer fun +the accomplishments of my kids(mom brags) and my friends engaged and cared about what we were up to. all things have a season. we’re in winter. I hope I can find that here again. Making connections as an adult is hard. I’ve started over before. I’ll do it again

For a bit. I’m going to mourn what facebook used to be. Which was a place I found long lost friends from grammar school. People I used to work with. People I’m super fond of and wanted to see what was going on in their lives. It was a community and a place where people cared about me + my kids too.

I guess this is my new home...
