its one thing to research and genuinely realize you have this and it affects you
but its another the way people use it to excuse horrible actions/have "antagonistic" alters but refuse to do anything to seek treatment with the potential harm that can come + constant misinfo on alters purposes

and what i mean by "like who will believe you" misinformation on this disorder online and the amount of ppl that /genuinely believe it/
esp short form content mis-using so much terms from the disorder applying it to normal emotions/lesser symptoms that arent connected
