Oh I get it. I have them in my family too, and I separated from those I was able to, including my BFF of 12 years. I put them into a different category … one I’ve learned how not to allow to affect my mental health. But still a work in progress.

Much of my career has been in adolescent psych. My masters is in that. Extremely sad stories. Sorry to hear that it became a personal one for you 😢

Well, flying is safe. But that’s another story. As for N Michigan, I highly recommend. So much to see and do there. I’ve been probably a dozen times now and never get tired of it. Throw in a trip to Mackinac island if you can. We just got back.

Thanks for clarifying, my friend. I’m sorry about your mom. I was sole caregiver for years for my mom who suffered with Alzheimer’s and dementia. One of the most difficult and heartbreaking times of my life. My humor helped me then and still does. I get it.

Oh it’s fine. I see it regularly and it’s drop dead gorgeous in its holiday attire. And I’m not trying to be harsh or callous regarding his age. Remember what I do for a living. But he’s always been that way, and if dementia is a factor, he needs to step down … like he wanted Biden to do.
