I regret proclaiming it a day for reading because I woke up with a terrible headache. So it's gonna be be like that, isn't it?

Ok, I do have to go to bed now. Tomorrow is a day for reading. If I say it, it shall have to be.

Good night.

This was a really interesting video I watched yesterday about women writing men. It's something that I've also privately pondered on a bit. But this creator has a very balanced way of discussing it and also points out some important things.

I had to look through my Goodreads, because apparently warm colors on the cover are not very common in books that I've read recently.

But #AThousandSplendidSuns by #KhaledHosseini is one of my favorite books from many years ago.

November sucks because I get up in the morning, I blink, and then it's two days later and I have no memory of what has passed.

If we're talking in terms of actually making progression with my book, definitely by myself.

But if I were to hang out with a group of readers and we wanted to do it as a fun social activity on occasion, I'd be in. I've actually done it once.

Probably chronological, because it'll be easier to follow and helps me understand characters better. But I'm not specifically opposed to a non-linear narrative if there is a good reason for it and the writer is skilled enough to pull it off.

Writers, when plotting, do you craft your story in any particular sequence?

Seperately, readers, do you favor chronological or non-linear reads?

I maintain that I'd still be interested in S3 of #TheVow with Mack sharing her side of the story.

S2 with Nancy was great. I was both disgusted by and felt sorry for her, which is how I feel about Mack. She did horrible, unforgivable things, but it's true that she was also brainwashed by Raniere.

I made a whole list, actually. I have six books left, but I'm no longer confident I'll read them all by 2026.

I would say my highest priority is to finish the Mistborn trilogy and then to read Blood Over Bright Haven.
