I have worked with indie TTRPG clients before, but it seems like things have changed a lot since 2023 (more opportunities! Yay!) and as I study possible clients and goals, and evaluate my works, I'm seeing I have to tweak my folio and create more samples to be more competitive!

About Wise: Seems like depending on the client's payment option (not sure which one) you may be charged more.

Hasn't happened to me yet so I don't know how much % it would cost

I've brought most of my clients to either Payoneer or Wise, and Wise became my favorite!

Payoneer is cool as well (slightly slower but yesterday I received a payment and it was instantaneous, so, nice!), and in my exp both are superior to Paypal regarding taxes and USD conversion rates.

I use their USA bank to receive in dollars, then convert to BRL when withdrawing for my Brazilian account. It's very fast and has been taking 1-2 days for me.

There's a one-time R$250 (maybe $50?) fee when joining but it was way way cheaper than what Paypal eats from me.
