I stopped watching MSNBC since Nov 6, taking doses of Nicolle, Joy, Katie, & Lawrence when I can bear it. Firing Joy and Katie when the laziest journalist on TV (Katy Tur) has a gig is a travesty. There’s no other way to describe Rebecca Kutler than as a lousy sellout.

Make the Senate Listen
Don’t be afraid to call or write your senators before they vote on the Kash Patel nomination, along with those of Robert Kennedy, Jr., and Tulsi Gabbard.

Every single person opining about “what the Dems should be doing” needs to broaden their lens to talking about what the resistance CAN be doing, and then they need to either put up, or shut up. And if they won’t get in the fight, they’re no better than the millions of voters who stayed home.

Liza supervises seed sorting while she weighs the pros and cons of taking over Ada’s cat tree perch. I suggested tackling the Pirate Kitten in her crows nest might not be the best idea. She will take it under advisement.

SHARE WIDELY.
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

With mass deportations starting today across the country, it is vitally important - for both citizens and non-citizens - to know your rights.

You have the right to remain silent. Assert it. You have the right to a lawyer. Ask for one.

You will read countless times today that the LA mayor cut the LA Fire Department's budget by $23 million.

That is a lie.

The budget was actually *increased* by $50 million.

The fruitless search for nonexistent common ground instantaneously normalizes Trump. Dems should not propound the dubious assertion that Trump operates in good faith. Mouthing this platitude makes Ds look weak, foolish and unprepared to stand up to fascism

Opinion | Democrats shouldn’t try to find ‘common ground’ with Trump
Unwise, premature and embarrassing outreach from what is supposed to be the opposition.
