Yes! Purity culture and trad culture and the nexus of these subcultures can get pretty pro-pedophilia at their base. They were mad about Epstein when they thought he would reveal a Dem pedophilia ring, now they're just confused

Chanting Fire Nico got the desired result - Nico fired. Worrying about hurting the players' feelings would have kept him hired, which we did not want. The same is true of Chuck Schumer.

The whole "daddy Trump" thing they have going on over there is itself to some extent about sexualizing the relationship between older men and younger women. They like older men and young women. They're confused themselves about when the women are too young.

Every single time! Epstein will write:

"porsecters h4arrsed me w/ sbuopenas al bcuase tr4ificing myners .due porcess much???no"

and then there's, like, the former president of a university or white house counsel or something replying:

"You're totally right, and also I love you with all my heart."

Nobody was like, well if it turns out to be savvy - it literally didn't matter. A CHAMPIONSHIP is less valuable than getting to watch a Luka do their thing. Especially if it's with guys who come in and spend five minutes here

In the same vein, nobody who talks about how Dems need to sound like Manchin, Sinema, and Fetterman to win tough races can explain why the last two especially absolutely cratered their popularity by acting like that once elected

Seems now to be writing a "four years of Glenn Youngkin ended with an absolutely massive repudiation of his party" take

No for sure, but then it's like, alright but nothing could possibly produce this kind of result in other purple ish states so

Time will tell how much of this was just local effects - Sears being a bad candidate, DOGE and the shutdown hurting VA especially, but it really is uncharted territory for VA
