I've got web sites and apps at work that just lost all of their images and some of their functionality. Fun times.

Just took Nokoma for a spin. It's pretty fun. The tutorial was short and sweet and did a good job teaching the basics. The premise of the game seems sound, but I wonder if you could add any extras to it. Maybe some blocks that do something other than split?

Game development is a tough racket, for indies and AAA alike. Keep your chin up and love what you do.

Oh dang, that works! I should have thought of that. I ended up commenting out the variable, running, then uncommenting.
