V4ta. Hot26 yoga teacher. #wfpb arthritis since 1976. Vegan since 2016, making up for lost time every way possible. While I do other things elsewhere, I'm here for one thing and one thing only - the animals.
Oh, yoga: where mind & body meet.
This turner prize entry by Mohammad Sami about hunting speakers to me of man's inhumanity to this planet. Humans rape and pillage the land of everything (or pay for it to be done) and then gave the audacity to call themselves intelligent.

There's a surprise. Yet another article misunderstanding veganism. Trying to say something it's wrong when you clearly don't understand wtf you're talking about!

Here's my meal at a wedding I went to yesterday. Stuffed aubergine and a range of salads.

Don't you just love scammers. "She" is only partially vegan, so is only "partially" cruel.

Last night's stew of onion, leek, carrots, whole lemon, chickpeas, runner beans, broccoli, garlic, bouillon powder, tamari, mushrooms, soy milk, nooch, oregano, black pepper, turmeric, courgette and water. Enough for last night and 3 other days for 2 people.

If you know Cassiopeia Jordan. Be very wary if you have your dog nearby. He patently has no regard for animals and your dog could suffer as a result.

The bullets bitten by people claiming farm animals cannot feel pain & suffering by denying the realities of farm animals crying. Makes me want to pick such people up by the short & curlies shouting you f'ing arseholes.

Instead I'll educate.

And there you go. Dusty Hodges who claimed victory against a vegan because they blocked her now admits to being a loser (by her logic) since she blocked me. When did she do this? As soon as the evidence started mounting up that she was full of BS.

Welcome to the rainy city. Yesterday we went to the Lowry exhibition. This skyline echoes those fabulous portrayals of an industrial landscape.

A Ethiopian vegan platter for two from Salford Quays. Magic.

Someone who thinks that veganism is a diet and about their food choices. Totally ignoring the animals & also afraid someone might point that out.

Birdflu compensation for bird breeders 2021/22 in the UK according to the UKs animal plant health agency. Nearly £10m in one year. That's £6 per bird. In just three months in 2025, 1.8m birds were "culled" either by being gassed (argon & co2) or suffocated by closing all vents.

How many farmers does it take to change a light bulb.
Zero, they want you in the dark.

Here's an interesting presentation on the Dutch "pure PR" form of voting.
April 1, 2025 at 6:04 PM
I'm at QMUL at a PR event. Like veganism it has a steep & huge mountain to climb to get anywhere. I'm so interested in the differences of the challenge. Eg in veganism we have a clear destination: total abolition, whereas PR comes in multiple forms so finding a clear target isn't so easy.

Today's stir-fry. Tofu with my own tamari sauce mix, cauliflower, onion, peas, mushrooms, garlic, onion, celery, courgette, sesame oil. I think that's it.

When vegans say variety, we mean variety. This is so packed with flavour & good nutrition.

Dahl makhani, lentils & rice, nan bread, washed down with green tea & limes/black coffee at an Indian roadside cafe. So much complete nutrition & taste.
