Very good piece, as always, although mildly shocked to see ‘alter’ used instead of ‘altar’.

Very impressive. He really got stuck in too, no sitting in the wheels and seeing where it took him.

He hit the course barrier on the start straight with his front wheel and punctured the tubular.

Excellent, I’ll be there today so will look out for you.
November 14, 2025 at 8:55 AM
Are you there tomorrow, Jose? Would be lovely to say hello.

Do you think she can persuade Milei to invade the Falklands?

For god’s sake don’t give them policy ideas!

Football games were played at Fratton Park and the eventing was shared between Aldershot and Fleet.

Had to double check the date, thought it was April 1st for a second.
October 3, 2025 at 7:35 AM
Btw, great work on the removal of the parking bays on Albemarle Road!
October 1, 2025 at 8:15 PM
Are there any details on the diversions? We’re seeing an increase in through traffic on The Drive, with a significant rise in speeding cars.
October 1, 2025 at 8:13 PM
I think this is a direct consequence of having such a hard course. Those riders who might normally get up the road are fighting to stay in the peloton instead.
September 28, 2025 at 8:18 AM
Yeah, that came across a lot ruder than I intended, it wasn’t meant to. I was agreeing with you and hoping to stimulate a wider conversation.
